Calculate Your Age

How It Works

  1. Enter your date of birth. Pick the day you were born from the date picker.
  2. Choose a target date. Leave it empty to calculate your age today, or set any past or future date.
  3. Get your exact age. See years, months and days — plus total days lived and your next birthday countdown.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is my exact age calculated?

We count the full years, then the full months, then the remaining days between your birth date and the target date. Month lengths and leap years are taken into account, so the result is exact — the same method used on official forms.

What if I was born on 29 February (a leap day)?

In non-leap years there is no 29 February, so your age increases on 1 March. This calculator follows that convention: if you were born on 29 Feb 2000, you turn exactly 25 on 1 March 2025.

Can I calculate my age on a future or past date?

Yes. Set the "Age at date" field to any date after your birth — for example, to find out how old you will be on a wedding day, graduation, or retirement date.

How many days old am I?

The "Total days lived" figure counts every day from your birth date up to the target date, including leap days. Divide by 7 to get full weeks — we show that for you too.

Is my date of birth stored or sent anywhere?

No. All calculations happen in your own browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded, stored, or tracked.
